Pisces as a sun sign

The traditional symbol for this sign has always been illustrated with fishes swimming in opposite directions, but with a cord joining them. This image makes a very potent statement about the Piscean personality: so often Pisceans will decide on one line of action, then, for deep-rooted reasons known only to themselves, will do exactly the opposite.

Here are some of the kindest and most sympathetic of all zodiac types, extremely self-sacrificing and very charitable. But it is often the case that they find it difficult to face up to reality, so others who are stronger and rather more assertive should give them support and encouragement. When they do, Pisceans will be eternally grateful and become friends for life. The kind, charitable spirit of Pisceans will sometimes interfere with the full development of their own potential. They are usually talented in a creative way, but due to a lack of self-confidence will justify themselves by helping others — perhaps looking after a sick relative or simply helping someone long-term rather than seriously getting down to expressing their own natural talents.
