They do, though, state the date of entry and use tints that correlate to the white, shaded, and dark segments used on our birth charts here. Let's take a birth date of 15 June 1979, for example. On 1June, Jupiter was in Leo in the white segment, and was still in that segment on the 27th. This means that on the 15 June, Jupiter would be placed in your chart in Leo's white segment, because, at that time it was travelling through the first 10° of that sign.
Your chart should now include all the details on the diagram opposite, with Ascendant, Midheaven, and planets placed in their signs and houses.
