A complete delineation consists of a synthesis of the core with the modifiers. If we think of the core as a tennis ball, and the modifiers as pins stuck into the ball, a delineation would look like this:
No matter how many pins you stick into the ball, the ball is clearly visible. NO MATTER HOW MANY MODIFIERS ARE ADDED TO THE CORE, THE CORE IS CLEARLY VISIBLE. The modifiers are important; they sharpen the focus, add color and nuance, identify additional potential strengths and potential obstacles. But, it is the cores focus which is sharpened; it is the core to which color and nuance are supplied; and it is the core to which additional potentials are added.
